Since there is so much unnecessary back and forth and even defenses of what the imbecile, racist, rapists asshole occupying the white house said the other day and what he meant- and how it was covered- I leave you this.

This is what he said verbatim.

“I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute,” Trump said during Thursday’s coronavirus press briefing. “And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets inside the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

He is asking on live TV, during an official briefing on Coronavirus, from POTUS and the team he put together to deal with it, whether injecting disinfectants into the lungs could cure coronavid-19 patients- and then doubled it by saying it would be interesting to “check that”.

So he is actually suggesting that people try it- not simply wondering (which he should not have done in the first place because no one that stupid and ignorant should be allowed to be in any position of power- not even as late shift manager in McDonalds).

So the “liberal media” did not misinform or hyperbolize. He actually suggested we checked it out.

Now, there is no such thing as liberal news outlets. That is right wing propaganda that came from real fake news outlets such as Fox. CNN does a good job reporting but they also have shows that are the equivalent of op eds.

And they may have a knack for going after Trump- but it is easy to do so because of his hateful , racist, xenophobic, bigoted, stupid, willfully ignorant, misogynist, and rapist discourse, not to mention the constant lies that come out of his mouth DAILY.

If anything, mainstream press has consistently gave him a free ride and a pass by bringing his supporters and liars-in-arms to spew their hatred and to double down on his lies which actually, when you put them to “debate” real experts legitimizes these sociopaths.

Point aside, the only biased media is right wing rags- not because of their editorial line- but because they are not factual. Not even their meteorologists are because they can’t mention global warming or even suggest that it is mostly man-made- even though that is not even a scientific debate anymore.

Those who follow Trump, as he well said it- will support him no matter what even if he “shots a person in the face”. His words. So to them, any distinction between “suggested” and “pondered” doesn’t register. For starters, the word of their Fuhrer is law and infallible- even as he contradicts himself. Second, they are incapable of higher thinking. And lastly, they share all the bigotry of their Fuhrer.

And last point, if anything, mainstream media was too weak addressing the threat Trump represents for non-white peoples in the US and for world stability because talking about racism in this country is the biggest taboo ever.

Calling someone a racist makes you a pariah- not the racist- the one who identified the racist becomes the pariah. It offends white sensibilities (fragility), it undermines white privilege.

So no, even as he engaged in the most xenophobic discourse this country has seen since the civil war- he couldn’t be called a racist openly. So if anything, he has always got a pass from the “liberal media”.

That is also a reason why people get wide-eyed when him and his storm troopers are called Nazis. But yes, they are Nazis in every sense of the word. But they can’t be called that? And we are the snow flakes?
